The central unit, BB2, will support our rugged X style sensors for measuring MLSS, DO, pH, ORP or flow in WTP’s and WWTP’s and industrial processes. All sensors are factory calibrated, push the enter button twice and off you go.
BB2 is easy to use with intuitive software. The plug & play capabilities of the BB2 ensure an easy installation. Calibration is performed in just a few simple steps. The unit is designed with cutting-edge digital technology and software, making the BB2 easily upgradeable in the field and ensuring that the customer has the latest software revisions.
Digital communication between sensors and BB2, central unit, ensures reliable and safe connection. BB2 takes care of measuring values, monitoring, control, diagnostics and settings. A built-in heater guarantees function in the ambient temperature range of -20 to +50° C. BB2 generates up to four 4-20 mA isolated output signals and can be upgraded to enable bus communication with central control systems. The self-maintenance features of the BB2 further enhance its value in the plant.
Dissolved Oxygen Sensor O2X for continuous measurement of dissolved oxygen in SBR systems, aeration basins, aerobic digesters and final effluent with temperature output at no additional cost. The O2X is essential in saving energy associated with running blowers in aeration basins. The measurement of dissolved oxygen also assists in controlling nitrification/denitrification and leads to better process control. The oxygen electrode provides stable and reliable readings. New O2O optical DO electrode with Phase Shift Technology offers improved stability of DO readings and quicker response time. New cap coating is not damaged by UV light like current optical electrode designs. Built-in flush nozzles allow for automatic cleaning and ensure accurate measuring even in aggressive liquids. Calibration is simple and normally performed only twice a year.
The ITX Suspended Solids Sensor is the ultimate tool for effective process control. The sensor is used for continuous measurement of suspended solids in aeration basins (MLSS), return sludge troughs, SBR-systems, raw sewage, primary clarifier effluent and sewer monitoring in industrial plants. The sensor is an integral part of controlling solids retention time (SRT) or sludge age. The measuring principle is a single beam of pulsed NIR light. The LED light source pulses at 880 nm and has a guaranteed life of at least three years. In each installation, the meter is calibrated using actual lab tests for up to five sample points. An automatic cleaning system with built-in flushing nozzles ensures accurate measurements with little maintenance.
The ITX-IL In-Line Suspended Solids Sensor is the ultimate tool for effective process control supplied with 1 ½” SS isolation valve. Designed for up to 87 psig (6 bar) applications with built-in mechanical stop. The sensor is used for continuous measurement of suspended solids in RAS, WAS, MLSS and Sand Filter Backwash monitoring in industrial plants. The measuring principle is a single beam of pulsed NIR light. The LED light source pulses at 880 nm. In each installation, the meter is calibrated using actual lab tests for up to five sample points. An automatic cleaning system with built-in flushing nozzles ensures accurate measurements with little maintenance.
The CMC high concentration total solids meter is an excellent tool for continuous online TS concentration measurement in WWTP and biosolids applications. Common applications are thickened sludge prior to digesters, anaerobic sludge to centrifuges, primary clarifier sludge to obtain polymer dosing savings or better process control.
The reliable and well tested measuring principle of microwave true-phase technology utilises 5 frequency’s to achieve higher accuracy and automatic recovery after an empty pipe situation. True Phase technology used in the CMC has proven to offer high measurement accuracy over a wide range of TS concentrations.
The CTX 20/25 by-pass Suspended Solids Sensor is developed to measure suspended solids in liquids. The CTX sensor is used to continuously measure solids that are greater than 0.88 microns, such as in WWTP influent and effluent, clarifier effluent, condensate contamination, DAF influent and effluent solids, centrate and filtrate, industrial process slurries, etc.
The CTX 20/25 is constructed of 316SS with sapphire lenses and supplied with 1” npt couplings. The measuring principle is based on the ability of suspended particles to absorb and reflect NIR-light (near infrared), which is pulsed at 880 nm. The sensor has a 20mm gap between the lenses, which produces a self-cleaning effect due to the increased velocity.
The sensor is precalibrated for quick and easy startup. After installation, one point adjustment is performed against a laboratory test. The BB2 control box has four selectable calibration curves for applications with varying furnishes. Two CTX sensors (or other sensors in the X-series) may be connected to a single BB2 control box, which provides two 4-20mA outputs. The BB2 box is built with the ability to add an interface board that allows connection to a Fieldbus.
Cerlic CBX is a sludge blanket meter for the measurement of blanket depth in clarifiers and thickeners in WTP’s and WWTP’s.
Cerlic CBX detects the blanket by means of a near infrared (NIR) suspended solids sensor, which travels through fluff layers until it finds the preset blanket solids concentration. Measuring suspended solids using a transmission method provides a true reading for the sludge content without either colour compensation or indirect assumptions. By combining Cerlic’s transmitting suspended solids meter with modern mechanics, the true sludge level can now be obtained without any risk of disruption from such things as floating sludge.
Cerlic’s CBX may also provide a sludge profile of the media in which fluff layers can be seen. The meter is housed in a stainless steel cabinet for installation in a variety of environments and has automatic flushing of both sensor and cable, which means that maintenance is minimal.
MultiTracker is a portable instrument for measuring parameters within water/wastewater plants as well as in other facilities. Sensors are available for sludge blanket, suspended solids and oxygen. Cable lengths 4, 8, 12 or 20 m, connects easily to the instrument via a plug-in contact. The MultiTracker built-in log is able to store up to 250 measurements. To the same plug-in contact input as the sensor, a computer cable may be connected. The log can now easily be transferred to a computer and be handled via Cerlic Tracker Talk or MS Excel. Three calibration curves for different basins can be saved for simple and flexible use. Two different alarm levels can be set for min/max value with vibration and acoustic signal at set levels. Battery life is approximately 2 – 3 years at normal usage. The Multitracker is delivered in a practical case.
Multiseries gives new possibilities for portable and stationary measurement. All sensors in the Multiseries have full flexibility and can be used both as a portable meter and as stationary installed. As a user, you can easily switch between the different sensors and between installations.
